Here we go again. Me neglecting this blog. I know it's not an excuse but life has really been busy. That and I've turned to micro-blogging on my Twitter and Instagram (totally addicted to Instagram).
But since July is my birthday month and BIGBANG's [MADE] in Manila is also happening in a few days, I thought it would be fitting to share my whole [MADE] experience in Seoul.
So last April, BIGBANG announced their comeback along with their yearly concert in Seoul. Being the VIP that I am, I decided to fly to Seoul at the very last minute, with no concert ticket and left my fate up to the KPop gods.
The KPop gods must be really on my side at that time coz a friend of mine managed to secure me a concert ticket as soon as I landed. What are the chances?
So with only 2 hours of sleep (I took a late flight) off I went to the Seoul Olympic Park Stadium.
I wanted to get my hands on the BIGBANG merchandise so I decided to come early. And boy, they were not kidding.
By noon I was done with my merchandise shopping so I decided to just enjoy the sights and of course, spazz.
I really didn't ask my friend about my seat location anymore since my trip was so last minute, my thinking was as long as I was in the seated section I would be fine. The important thing was to watch the concert. That's why when I got to the venue, I was so surprised how close my seat actually was.
Pumped up and alone in a concert, I was so hyper that I began chatting with the American guy beside me who looked a bit out of place in a KPop concert. In the middle of our conversation, I noticed that G-Dragon's parents and sister sat in the row in front of us. Being the BIGBANG stan that I am, I began panicking and hyperventilating and mouthing to the guy beside me that GD's parents and sister were seated just in front of us, at the left side. So my new friend asked me:
"You're a huge GD fan, huh?"
Which I replied (in my craziest fangirl voice),
"I am a fan, but he's not my favorite. My bias is T.O.P... he's the best, he's my perfect guy...he's gonna be my huband someday. I'm actually on the lookout for T.O.P's parents...I WANNA SEE THEM!!!"
And as if on cue, the woman beside me turned to look at us and lo and behold, it was none other than T.O.P's mom. TABI'S. MOM. SEATED. BESIDE. ME.
Yep, so during the concert, I was seated behind T.O.P's parents, and I proceeded to watch the rest of the concert screaming profanities towards his son. I actually think his mom got traumatized with what I was screaming, so yeah, that was an embarrassing moment for me.
But it was the most awesome concert ever, and it took me weeks to get over my [MADE] in Seoul hangover.
It was the BEST. TRIP. EVER. Since my [MADE] experience was for the books, and I am a beliver of good KPop karma, I thought it would be fitting to pay it forward and share my happiness to my fellow Filipino VIPs.
